SANTA usually arrives by sleigh but in one Hampshire town he had a more aquatic form of transport.
Hundreds of people gathered in Lymington for the Santa on the Quay event yesterday afternoon, which saw Santa arrive at Town Quay in Lymington via a flotilla.
People enjoyed an afternoon of festive themed activities including Christmas craft stalls, traditional refreshments including mulled wine, face painting, music - which included a Christmas sing-a-long with the Barton Court Studios Performance Academy - and a BBQ.
