AS PART of their Golden Jubilee celebrations, one Hampshire rugby club has stripped off to raise vital cash for charity.

Ellingham and Ringwood Rugby Club have produced a nude calendar to collect funds for the Fire Fighters Charity and Parkinson’s UK.

The calendar includes risqué pictures of club members from both its men’s and women’s sections – and even includes pictures of some of the “old boys”!

Local photographer Chris Hudson gave his time for free to take the photos for the calendar, which are selling fast. The club produced 150 calendars that are being sold for £10 each and over half have been sold already.

Director of Rugby at the club, even Benson said the idea came from the younger members of the club, but some of the older players were more than happy to get involved.

"The idea all goes back to the club's 50th anniversary," Steven added.

"So there is a whole lot of stuff going on during the year.

"The youngsters came up with the idea for a calendar and one of their friends is a photographer, and he did all of the photos for free.

"They even got some of the older guys to do the photoshoot also; it was great to see!

"We have got a few people at the club with parents who have Parkinsons and also a number of fire fighters play for us, so the two charity choices seemed easy to choose."

The club played their first game on December 31 1966 and have been enjoying a series of events in their jubilee season.

The celebrations will continue over the rest of the season, with charity lunches, events and dinners; it will come to a glamorous with a grand ball at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth on Saturday April 29.
