TWO people have suffered serious injuries after a row near a New Forest pub.
Police were called after an assault in Lymington in the early hours of Sunday, January 29.
A 32-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman were involved in an "altercation" with two men outside the Thomas Tripp pub around midnight.
The man and woman then walked up Southampton Road, where they were assaulted. Both sustained "serious injuries", including cuts and bruises, in the "nasty" assault, police say.
A spokesperson from Hampshire police said: "We believe the two men outside the pub were involved in the assault.
"They are both described as white, in their 20s and under 6ft tall.
"If you were in the area and saw anything, please call 101 quoting 44170036086."
