THESE are some of the charming family snaps that are turning visitors to a Hampshire attraction into instant TV stars.

The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, has made a commercial featuring photographs of people enjoying a day out at the award-winning site.

People visiting the museum were invited to share their pictures and videos by Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using #MyBeaulieu.

Nearly 500 images were received and 30 favourites chosen. The winners have received an annual family pass – plus an opportunity to see themselves on a prime-time ad being screened across the UK during commercial breaks in Broadchurch and other top shows.

The commercial is set to be shown at regular intervals throughout the spring and summer.

Known as the Beaulieu Attraction, the huge site includes a priceless collection of classic cars, including record-breaking vehicles owned by members of the Campbell dynasty and other record-breakers.

Families can also visit the Beaulieu Abbey ruins and 13th century Palace House, home to the Montagu family since 1538.

The museum was founded in the early 1950s by the previous Lord Montagu of Beaulieu, who became one of the first peers in the UK to open his home to paying public.

One of the winning images were sent in by Naomi House Children’s Hospice at Sutton Scotney, near Winchester.

Hospice spokesman Keith Wilson said: “The play team loves taking children and young people in our care to visit Beaulieu.

“The staff are friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The grounds and attractions may be steeped in history but Beaulieu has ensured accessibility and inclusion are a top priority. We never have any issues making our way around or finding the facilities we need.”
