A MAN was taken to hospital after being attacked by up to six people in a Hampshire town.

The 42-year-old victim suffered facial injuries in the assault, which took place at Southampton Road, Ringwood, near a bridge over the A31.

He was attacked on October 12 - but details have only just been released by Hampshire police.

Officers have published e-fit images of two teenagers they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

One of the youths is described as white, aged about 13 with short dark black or brown hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap.

The other teenager is described as white, aged 14-16, 5ft 5in, stocky build with thick black stubble and short black spiky hair. He is thought to have been wearing a white and blue checked shirt.

Police also want to speak to a third person suspected of being involved in the incident.

He is described as white, aged 14-16 with a round face. He was wearing a cap or hat and a tracksuit that was possibly blue or grey.
