Jail for shoplifters


JEWELLERY, phones and computer games were recovered hours after a raid on a house in Totton, Southampton Crown Court heard.

Kelvin Hunt, 20, of Park Close, Marchwood; Kevin Lucas, 27, of Claude Ashby Close, Mansbridge, Southampton, and Richard Norton, 25, of Ringwood Road, Totton, admitted handling. Hunt and Norton also admitted shoplifting.

Lucas and Hunt were jailed for ten months but because of the time they had served on remand, were released immediately. Norton received 11 months behind bars.

At the rate that shops are closing they will be queing soon just to steal from the ones that still exist. The punishment wasn't exactly a deterent was it? Bring back the stocks.

We're all having to pay over the odds for
goods because of crap
like these two.See they're looking for people to test drugs
etc for swine flu,be
nice if they were allowed to test things on rubbish like this,wouldn't care if they expired
during testing,probably be the only time in their useless lives they'd been of any use to anybody.
