CELEBRATIONS have been held to mark the fifth anniversary of a “unique” project in the New Forest.
Churches Counselling Together (CCT) comprises a group of professionally trained Christian counsellors from various churches in the district.
They provide a safe, secure and confidential counselling service from a Christian perspective, but stress that the service is accessible to all.
Counselling sessions are held in various parts of the Forest, including Hythe, Dibden Purlieu and New Milton. A CCT spokesman said: “It’s a low cost, easily accessible, local and professional counselling service that is possibly unique in the UK.”
A buffet lunch (pictured left) to celebrate its fifth birthday took place at the United Reformed Church in New Road, Hythe.
