A widow killed herself in the holiday spot in Hampshire she enjoyed with her late husband, an inquest heard.
Lyn Marie Venton, 56, from Cornwall, was found dead in her Vauxhall car in Marley car park, Lyndhurst, with the photo of her beloved John and a diary with next of kin details.
She had attempted to asphyxiate herself in her car but a post-mortem showed she died of a heart attack.
Southampton coroner Keith Wiseman recorded a verdict that she killed herself.
It emerged that two months before Mrs Venton had been rescued from a cliff edge in St Agnes, Cornwall, after being stranded in her car there for 20 hours.
