BUILDERS have begun demolition of a long fought over church.
The Victory Gospel Church in North Baddesley had been the subject of six previous planning applications before Test Valley Borough Council planners gave the go-ahead to knock it down against the wishes of some residents.
It is being demolished for three detached homes to be put in its place.
