PUPILS at a Hampshire school went wild last week.
North Baddesley Juniors were taking part in Wear it Wild day part of their annual REF (Real Earth Force) week in which the whole school focuses on conservation, protection of wildlife and finding out about the environment through a range of activities in the school grounds.
The World Wildlife Fund’s Wear it Wild, a new nationwide fundraising event, challenges pupils and teachers to dress up to show their wild side to help protect threatened species.
Pupils dressed wild like tigers, zebras, birds and snakes and raised £190.
Head teacher, Sue Smith, said: “We are proud to take part in WWF’s Wear it Wild and are excited to be involved with such a fun and inspiring event.”
