A NEW outdoor learning area at Awbridge Primary School has officially been opened by Romsey’s MP. Caroline Nokes said she was “delighted” to be asked to perform the ceremony.
“Areas where children learn through play are vitally important during their first years in education, and the staff at Awbridge have obviously put a great deal of effort into tailoring each space to teach a new skill,” said Ms Nokes.
Headteacher Mark Ward said the new outdoor early years learning area cost around £1,500 and the money to pay for it came from the school’s PTA.
