A MOTORIST was hurt during a three vehicle smash on a busy main route.
The A3057 Romsey Road was blocked in both directions when a car and two vans were in collision close to the Toothill Road junction.
A black Seat Altea, silver Ford transit van and a VW Caddy crashed at 8.21am.
A police spokesman said at least one motorist had suffered “minor injuries” in the smash.
An ambulance was called but it is not known whether the casualty required hospital treatment.
The police spokesman said officers left the scene at 9.40am when the road was due to be reopened.
