HE WILL take to the stage tonight in front of millions, knowing that his home community are right behind him.

There will be no louder cheering heard than at The Horn’s Inn in Nursling, the village where The Voice quarter-finalist Harry Fisher grew up.

Fans and those who know him will be gathering at the Romsey Road pub tonight to support their home-grown talent.

Staff at The Horn’s Inn on Romsey Road, where Harry worked before heading off to St Mary’s University in Twickenham have made t-shirts emblazoned with the singing sensation’s name.

General manager of the pub and restaurant Amy Hamilton said: “Everyone got on with him and loved him. He was always happy and always singing.

“We always commented on how good he is. He was always showing off. He knew he was good but not in a big-headed way.

“The regulars were always asking him to sing. We always show him when he’s on the TV and there’s always a crowd hovering round to watch.”

The 19-year-old singer from Nursling worked behind the bar at the pub and is becoming known for his powerful voice and tear-jerker renditions of pop ballads.

Harry is keeping his song choice for this evenings show under wraps but told the Daily Echo he was willing to take risks if it meant he would progress in the show, where he is being mentored by Boy George.
