A POP star has visited Hampshire with her family for the chance to explore the ‘Lost Kingdom.’

Singer and TV presenter Michelle Heaton, known for singing with pop group Liberty X, has visited the county with her two children and husband for the chance to enjoy the latest attraction at Paulton’s Park.

The 36-year-old, who now lives in Ireland, travelled to the park near Romsey for a day exploring the dinosaur attraction and gave organisers an interview raving about their visit.

Michelle, who confirmed earlier last month that Liberty X were hoping to reunite for performances this year, said: “As a family we very rarely get out the four of us together because one of us is always working, so this is a very rare occurrence that the four of us are together on a day out and I can’t think of anywhere more special to take them all.

“We’ve absolutely loved today, the rides are amazing and a lot more child friendly than I had first anticipated so for my four and two year old that’s really clever, really good.”

During the interview Michelle, who wore a floral summer dress, revealed that her two children, Faith, four and AJ, two, were both obsessed with dinosaurs and that’s what attracted them to the park.

She added: “Obviously it’s home of Peppa Pig as well so I think it crosses over really well, my daughter is all about ‘dinosaur’ and my two year old’s first word was dinosaur so I think this lends itself very well to our family.”

Michelle also said that her son had a chance to meet the Paulton’s Park mascot, a ‘real life’ T-Rex, she said: “He was a little bit overwhelmed as to whether it was real or not - but of course it’s real.”

During their trip Michelle, who is now popular on YouTube for her channel Michelle Heaton in Reality, took to social media to show off the attraction, sharing photos of her children and husband, Irish businessman Hugh Hanley, saying her kids had “the best time.”
