A GREEN-fingered Romsey woman and her husband’s hard work on their town council allotment paid off. Brenda and Roger Sidebotham’s Southampton Road plot has been judged best-kept Romsey Town Council Allotment 2009.
The couple have received the Jim Holloway Memorial Trophy from the mayor John Ray in recognition for their efforts.
The trophy awarded to the Sidebothams’ was in memory of the late Jim Holloway a founder member of RTCA and the organisation’s chairman for 18 years, who died last year.
