Blaze closes bank

A FIRE closed Lloyds TSB’s Romsey Market Place branch yesterday.

Two Romsey-based fire crews tackled the blaze that broke out in a ladies loo at about 8.20am. Smoke filled the building and a member of staff alerted the emergency services.

An electrical fault is believed to have started the fire.

A Lloyds spokesman apologised for any inconvenience and said they hoped to reopen the bank today.

Don't tell me the working people will have to pay more to the parasite bankers for this damage as well.
But probably with bankers buddy Gordon Brown gone, they won't try that trick so soon after the last one.
