A NEWPORT man who admitted harassment without violence and possession of cannabis will be sentenced in the new year.
Paul Samuel Morrisey, 29, of Royal Oak Drive, Newport, admitted telephoning Kelly Murphy and sending abusive text messages, as well as possession of cannabis, at a hearing on December 8.
Yesterday, at Cwmbran Magistrates’ Court, district judge Richard Williams adjourned sentencing Morrisey so that a pre-sentence report could be prepared.
He is due to reappear at Cwmbran Magistrates’ Court on January 9, 2013.
Morrisey was released on conditional bail.
