Moonlighting rises by 132 per cent
MORE people than ever are taking on extra work in Southampton, a survey has revealed.
The survey by online freelance marketplace PeoplePerHour showed that moonlighting has increased by 132 per cent in the city.
It showed Southampton was just behind, Manch-ester, Liverpool, London and Bolton in terms of annual moonlighting growth.
PeoplePerHour boss Xenios Thrasyvoulou said: “It seems that as austerity measures have taken their toll on finances, Brits are finding their entrepren-eurial spirit and making every spare moment count.”
