AN elderly woman had to be freed from her car following a crash near Mere this morning.
Fire crews from Mere and Warminster were called to the crash along the B3095 near Mere Downs at about 7.20am.
The car was on its side in a field and the driver trapped.
She was released from the vehicle by 8am and taken to hospital for treatment for her injuries.
