Customers of Bluebird Care in Bradford on Avon got a tasty treat when the agency delivered a batch of butties to promote healthy eating in Sandwich Week.
The care agency teamed up with Eva’s Cafe in the town to deliver a range of brown and white bread sandwiches, with a variety of fillings, to 33 customers in Bradford on Avon, its surrounding villages and Trowbridge.
Bluebird Care director Lesley Gough said: “We want to promote to our customers the value of a good, healthy food.
“Cooking is not easy as we get older and sandwiches are quick and easy to make from things that are already in the fridge.
“Eva’s Cafe fitted in with that ethos of fresh and locally sourced food.”
