A PAIR of Hampshire women have shaved off their flowing locks in the name of charity.
It is just the latest fundraising effort undertaken by Tetrina Campbell in memory of her husband David’s grandson Ben.
Five years ago Ben was born prematurely alongside twin brother Ryan, but died aged just 71 days after multiple organ failure.

Ever since then Tetrina, from Botley, has held charity events, including raffles and dart nights, to raise money for various charities.
Almost £6,000 has been raised since then and for her latest fundraising effort, which took place at the Bitterne Park Social Club, the 53-year-old had all of her hair shaved off.
But she wasn’t the only one to lose some of her hair at the event – her friend Sue Armour, from Southampton, went from 16 inch long locks to a grade four.

The money raised will be divided between the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust.
Tetrina, a carer at Eastleigh-based charity One Community, said: “I was a bit apprehensive beforehand, but it’s all for a good cause and it will grow back soon enough.
“We’re coming up to £2,500 raised so far, and we’re going to be looking to hopefully raise more than £3,000 eventually."
Tetrina and her friends are already looking forward to next year’s fundraising exploits, with her niece Letisha Blyth set to take part in a skydive for an as yet undecided charity.
