AN ALUMNI Day staged by a Southampton school saw past pupils from the last 70 years reunited.
St Anne’s Catholic School invited its ‘old girls’ to return to the Carlton Road campus.
Staff were surprised to see alumni ranging back to the 1950s attend.
“It’s amazing how much this school means to so many people, and how much it has impacted generations of women in Southampton and the surrounding area.” says James Rouse, assistant head teacher.
“Ever since we launched the Association a few years ago, we have been inundated with messages of support and kind words from alumni all over the world who put their success down to the positive start they received when attending St Anne’s in their formative years.”
