SIX men are being questioned by detectives after a drugs bust on a city home this morning.

They were arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs following the raid on an address in Lyon Street in Northam, Southampton.

Officers from the Safer Neighbourhoods team with support from the force's targeted patrol teams, force support unit and dog support unit were involved.

Suspected class A substances were seized for analysis and identification.

Officers have been carrying out reassurance patrols in the community following the warrant.

A police spokesman said: “Hampshire Constabulary would like to thank local residents for their co-operation and understanding.

“The six male suspects, aged between 17 and 31, remain in police custody at this time.”
