Major city route closed due to crash
A MAJOR route in and out of Southampton was closed this morning to all traffic.
The Itchen Bridge was briefly closed after a person phoned the Samaritans helpline from the bridge.
Police briefly closed the bridge to attend to the person.
The bridge has since reopened and there were no injuries.
