Motorbike crash causing delays on key city road
COMMUTERS faced traffic chaos after a crash involving a motorbike and a car in Hampshire.
Ambulance services and police rushed to the scene of the collision, which happened at about 8.15am on Mansbridge Road, near the junction of Monks Road, in Southampton.
A police spokesman said that the crash was causing delays for motorists on the westbound side of the road, heading towards Wide Lane and junction five of the M27.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101.
A South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman said that medics were called to the scene at 8.11am and gave treatment to one patient at the scene, but they were not taken to hospital.
