IMMIGRATION will be on the agenda at a specially-arranged public meeting in Southampton tomorrow.

The invitation-only weekend is being held by the Southern Policy Centre, an independent cross-party think tank for the region.

Taking place from 10am to 2pm at Solent University’s James Matthews Building in Above Bar, it will feature a debate about how immigration has changed Southampton over the past 15 years and what issues it can lead to.

It will also be a chance to debate future immigration policy, the benefits of immigration and to shape new policies.

The event will be run by researchers from the University of Cambridge and will feature a number of experts.

It is free but anyone wanting to attend needs to register by emailing info@southernpolicy centre.co.uk.
