POLICE have released this CCTV image in a bid to catch a burglar who struck at a Southampton shopping centre.
An investigation was launched after the incident at WestQuay when a purse and property belonging to a staff member at the Subway outlet were stolen.
It is thought the thief entered the outlet via a rear door in the service area before stealing a purse and the contents of a staff member's rucksack.
The man in the image has been identified as someone officers would like to speak to in connection with the theft.
Hampshire police would like to hear from anyone who knows who he is or has any other information that can help with their enquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Paddy Coveney at Southampton Central police station on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
