A MAN has been arrested in connection with two Southampton arson attacks.
The 36-year-old from Southampton is in police custody after a series of arson incidents at city hotels.
The arrest comes after police launched a man hunt across the city for a man in connection with the arsons.
Officers names and released a photograph of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the incidents.
The first attack was at Jurys Hotel in Charlotte Place at about 8.20pm on Thursday and the other was at Premier Inn in New Road at 11am on Friday.
As reported by the Daily Echo, five fire crews rushed to the Premier Inn after a fire started in a fourth floor bedroom.
The man remains in custody pending further enquiries.
