STARS of TV talent show The Voice are coming to Southampton for a charity concert.

Performers from the BBC One show will appear at Central Hall on May 16 in aid of U Support, a charity that gives children with life-limiting illnesses access to live music and other thrilling events.

But the charity needs to raise £4,000 to fund the concert and is appealing for help from the public.

A charity spokesman said: “For disabled children being able to see their idols perform is a truly life changing experience, yet attending a concert is often beyond their financial and physical means.

“By donating to this cause you will be giving 200 of the most deserving disabled and disadvantaged children an exclusive opportunity to experience live music for free.”

People who donate will be entered into a prize draw and could win signed merchandise and VIP packages for the concert.

There are also 700 tickets available to the public for £15 from ticketsouth.co.uk with proceeds going to the charity.

U Support has been helping children for 12 years and takes over 4,000 children and carers to events each year.
