City road blocked after motorcycle crash
A BUSY Southampton main road is partly blocked tonight after a motorcycle smash.
The Yamaha bike was in collision with a Vauxhall Zafira in Shirley Road, Shirley, at 4.11pm.
The male rider was uninjured in the crash which took place near Coop at the Paynes Road and Howard Road junction A police spokesman said an ambulance was not required.
Officers have sealed off part of the road while the wreckage is cleared.
It is causing long tailbacks as commuters return home from work.
