SOUTHAMPTON’S biggest free family festival is back.

Southampton Mela Festival will return to the city on Saturday July 11.

Once again it will fill Hoglands Park in the city centre with music, dance and family activities from around the world.

The Southampton Mela is a long-standing summer highlight in Southampton’s calendar. Now in its 13th year the festival is estimated to attract 20,000 people from along the south coast.

This year’s line-up is announced closer the time and exclusively to the Daily Echo first but each year organisers, Art Asia, bring new international acts and artists from across the globe as well as firm favourite like Bollywood, Bhangra, Qawwali, Flamenco, World and Fusion music and dance.
