POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they want to question over a theft and assault at a Southampton shop.
A man entered Co-op in Shirley Road and tried to conceal several items before being confronted by a member of staff.
The 20-year-old worker was assaulted and the man ran off with around £20 worth of cheeses.
He is described as white, aged in his late 30s, around 5ft 10ins tall, of toned, average build with dark brown hair worn in a pony tail and clean shaven.
The incident took place at around 9pm on Thursday, May 14.
