A LITTLE girl who hates having her hair cut has donated her long locks to charity.
Nine-year-old Daniella Jacks, can no longer sit on her hair, after she allowed her tresses to be trimmed and donated to the Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for children who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatments.
Daniella’s hair was cut at the Headfirst salon in Bitterne, run by her auntie, Joanne Oliver.
Mum Kim said: “We were watching a TV programme about children with cancer and Daniella said: ‘I’ve got loads of hair - I could help that little girl.'”
After her visit to the salon Daniella said: “I love my new hair it feels much lighter.”
Daniella also raised £200 in sponsorship for the charity.
Her sponsorship site is still open – donations can be made at justgiving.com/danniB/.
