A MAN has appeared at Winchester Crown Court charged with murdering a Southampton man.
Adam Dominiak nodded to confirm his name at the hearing on Monday, wearing a grey t-shirt, with the help of a Polish interpreter.
The 40-year-old pleaded not guilty to murdering Szymon Kalita on May 5, before counsel discussed his provisional trial date, set for October 5.
As previously reported, Mr Kalita, 33, who was originally from Poland, was found at an address in Malmesbury Road, Shirley, suffering from multiple injuries in May.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, he later died of his injuries at Southampton General Hospital.
