A MAN hit by an unmarked police car in Southampton has been charged and and will appear in court today.

Wayne Grant, of no fixed abode, has been charged by officers with dwelling burgalry, obstructing police and breach of bail.
The 23-year-old was arrested on Wednesday after being hurt when an unmarked police mounted the pavement in Victoria Road, Woolston at 1.30pm.
He will appear before magistrates in Southampton this morning.
The circumstances of the collision are being investigated by the Roads Policing Unit, and being reviewed by the force Professional Standards Department. The incident is not being referred to the IPCC at this time.
