A CRASH partially blocked a key route into Southampton this morning and left one woman in hospital.
The southbound M271 was blocked due to a collision approaching the Redbridge Roundabout.
Six cars were involved in the collision, which happened at 10.46am.

The motorway was blocked as far back as junction one at Brownhill Way, impacting anyone coming into Southampton via the M27.
Two people were treated by paramedics, with one of them - a women - taken to Southampton General Hospital.
The city council's highways team tweeted that the last vehicle was being removed from the scene at 12.15pm.
One witness told the Daily Echo they saw a number of cars involved, in what appeared to be a multi-car shunt.
