DOZENS of firefighters are tackling a blaze on a ship in a Southampton marina today.
More than 30 firefighters were called when the fire broke out on a 100m-long vessel docked in Ocean Quay, Belvidere Road, at 1.38pm.
It is believed a refit was underway when flames broke out on several scaffolding planks.
Crews using two breathing apparatus and a water jet are tackling the blaze, which is said to be “under control”.

It is not believed anyone was injured – but crews are unable to determine the extent of the damage.
Initially seven fire engines rushed to the scene due to the size of the ship.
They included crews from St Mary’s, Redbridge, Eastleigh, Gosport and Cosham, plus an environmental protection unit from Romsey fire station.
Now four crews remain to continue fighting the flames.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue said: “There was scaffolding on board the ship and that has caught alight rather than the vessel itself. The fire is under control and we need no further assistance.”
