THE Flying Scotsman was filmed from the air in glorious weather as it returned to Southampton this weekend.
Drone footage of the world-famous locomotive passing Nursling was captured by local enthusiast Kevin Handford.
Saturday's sun was in stark contrast to the torrid conditions endured by trainspotters on its first visit on May 22.

In the video you can see much of Nursling and Redbridge industrial estate, including the Daily Echo offices, as well as neighbouring countryside.
The drone then turns to capture the Test as it joins the sea, with the Saturday sunlight shimmering on the water.
