THEY are treasured family keepsakes - but now everyone else can enjoy them too.
Pictures by people in Southampton are on display in the city's IKEA store as part of a campaign to save the printed photograph.
Local people have submitted snaps of food, landscapes and their family.
Morag Purdue's black and white family photo has been chosen as the regional winner, with lots of runners-up on show too.
Entrants were asked to capture a deeply personal moment which showed an attachment to their 'Wonderful Everyday'.
Concerns is growing that 68 per cent of Brits have not printed a photograph in the last year and only a third own a physical photo.
Over 3,000 photo entries were submitted in IKEA's national competition.
Lisa Bradshaw, Home Decoration Sales Leader, IKEA UK & Ireland from IKEA, said: “We wanted to explore the power of printed photography, unpicking the phrase ‘a picture tells a thousand words’."
