POLICE say they are appealing for the public's help as part of a crackdown on nuisance motorcycle riders in an area of Southampton.

Two motorcycle riders were seen riding around Millbrook on Wednesday and Hampshire Constabulary is asking members of the public to come forward and help identify them.

The riders were seen riding around Colewell Close at about 11.30am on Wednesday and on Windrush Road at about 2pm.

One of the bikes was described as a large white scrambler, while the other was an orange KTM scrambler.

“We have received a lot of calls from the community assisting in identifying riders all over the Millbrook area. As a result of these calls, we have been following several lines of enquiry however in order to take further action we need continued support from residents and those affected by providing vital information that can lead to prosecution.

“I’m really pleased with the response from communities we have had so far. I think someone will know who the riders of these bikes are. Please call us in confidence, 101 and quote 44160317954.”
