POLICE have launched an appeal after shotguns and a car were stolen in Southampton burglary.
Thieves stole two 12-bore shotguns (one Miroku and one Beretta) from a secure gun cabinet, a giant trance mountain bike, and a Landrover, registration number CE11 HRP, which was parked on the drive.
It is understood that the car has LED lights in the bumper, a full-length roof rack, black chequered plating on the sides and black lattice wheels.
The burglary took place in Bassett Green Road, which is believed to have happened between 6.45am and 6.15pm on 23 August.
Police are also warning locals to stay vigilant, keep all valuables and keys out of sight and out of reach of doors and windows and not to leave spare keys in obvious places such as under doormats or plant pots.
