THESE cases were recently heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court:

Robert Francis Peter Elder, 32, of Itchen View, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to three offences of threatening behaviour. Community order, £85 costs and compensation orders totalling £150.

David Jim Parker, 47, of Anson Drive, Southampton. Found guilty of assault. Restraining order, fined £150 with £100 compensation order.

Daniel Alin Halici, 31, of Newtown Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. Six-month conditional discharge, driving record endorsed. Also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence. Six-month conditional discharge, banned from driving for eight months, £140 costs, £20 victim services surcharge.

Daniel John Casey, 38, of Colson Close, Winchester. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty. Jailed for eight weeks. Also pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour. Jailed for two weeks consecutively.

Matthew Anthony Collins, 36, of Portsmouth Road, Southampton. Found guilty of assault. Community order with drug rehabilitation requirement. Told to pay £400 costs, £100 compensation, and victim services surcharge of £85.

Hamza El-Mailoudi, 32, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour. Fined £50 with £30 costs and £30 victim services surcharge.

Melanie Jane Guite, 45, of The Valley, Winchester. Pleaded guilty to benefit fraud. Handed six-month prison sentence, suspended for 24 months. Fined £20 and told to pay £115 victim services surcharge. Also admitted second offence of benefit fraud. Handed six-month prison sentence concurrent, suspended for 24 months.

Harry Charles Pearce, 20, of Wessex Estate, Ringwood. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Banned from driving for 22 months, fined £200 with £85 costs and £30 victim services surcharge.

Frederick Robert Sherred, 21, of Magpie Grove, New Milton. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Banned from driving for 16 months, fined £200 with £85 costs and £30 victim services surcharge.

Donald Brian Haisman, 55, of Tunstall Road, Southampton. Found guilty of assaulting a police officer. Given a 28-day prison sentence and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.

Angela Freda McGlone, 46, of St Mary’s Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Fined £25 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

Mark Stitson, 33, of Graham Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing four fragrance gift sets worth £213 from Boots. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

Fiona Rosemary Avis, 26, of Waltham Crescent, Southampton. Admitted breach of community order by failing to attend a planned office appointment and telephone contact. Community order to continue and ordered to pay £30 costs.

Nathaniel Robert Bedden, 41, of Northlands Road, Eastleigh. Admitted breach of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work. Community order made and curfew put in place from 8pm until 6am for three months and ordered to pay £30 costs.

Marc Bromfield Aka Palmer, 36, of Beauworth Close, Eastleigh. Given a 14-day prison sentence for failing to keep in touch with a supervisor.

Ryan Barry McNeil, 26, of Orkney Close, Lordshill. Admitted breach of a community order by failing to attend a rehabilitation activity requirement. Community order to continue and ordered to pay £60 costs.

Frederick James Steele, 27, of Osborne Road North, Portswood. Admitted breach of community order by failing to attend a programme and office appointment. Community order to continue and ordered to pay £60 costs.
