FUNDRAISERS are nearing the end of a 24-hour table tennis marathon in aid of Children in Need.
Members of the West End Seniors Table Tennis Club - all aged between 60 and 80 - are staging the sponsored event at Hilldene Centre in High Street, West End.
Some have managed to play table tennis at the former school for up to 18 hours.
Lloyd Bishop, a member of the club, said: "We love table tennis and this is something we wanted to do, which has helped us keep going.
"The centre has given us the hall for nothing, which was a fantastic start."
About 30 members of the club have been joined by family and friends - plus Pudsey.
The event, which aims to raise about £2,000, is due to end at noon today.
