LONG tailbacks have built on on a Hampshire motorway following a three-vehicle collision.

Traffic on the westbound carriageway of the M27 near Hedge End is reported to be almost stationary after the accident, which occurred between junctions 5 and 7.

A police spokesman said no-one was injured in the collision just after 1.30pm.

All three vehicles have been moved to the hard shoulder but residual delays are taking time to clear.
