TWO men have denied attempted murder following a stabbing in Southampton city centre.
Che Yethman-Spaine, 19, and Callum Jeremiah Edwards, 18, are alleged to have carried out the attack on a 42-year old man in Watts Park on March 30, 2017.
At Winchester Crown Court Yethman-Spaine, of High Road, Tottenham, north London, also denied conspiracy to supply heroin, conspiracy to supply cocaine, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Edwards, of Spigurnell Road, Tottenham, admitted conspiracy to supply heroin, conspiracy to supply cocaine, possession of criminal property, namely £420 in cash and possessing ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.
He pleaded not guilty to possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
A third man, Miron Ramadani, 19, of Risley Avenue, Wood Green, north London, has been charged with possession of criminal property, namely £1,000 in cash, conspiracy to supply heroin, and conspiracy to supply cocaine.
All three were remanded in custody. The case is listed for trial on November 5 and is due to last three weeks.
