Man stabbed after fight in Southampton

A MAN has been stabbed and left with a punctured lung after a brawl in Southampton.
Emergency services were called to Paignton Road in Millbrook last night to find a 36-year-old man with stab wounds to his arms and body.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he is being treated for puncture wounds to his arms and a punctured lung, and is in a stable condition.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene at around 9.10am A spokeswoman for Southampton police said another 36-year-old man from the Southampton area was arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
It is believed the two men knew each other and were involved in a fight.
The arrested man is being held by police and is expected to be questioned by officers later today.
