SOUTHAMPTON’S Tudor House Museum has scooped two property awards.
The museum which re-opened in July last year following an £8m makeover, was the cream of the crop in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ South East Awards.
Architects Purcell Miller Tritton were commended for their work on the 15th century Grade 1 listed building, picking up the Project of the Year crown, as well as the Building Conservation Award.
The historic house and gardens were fully restored under the extensive regeneration scheme, including the entire ground floor frontage.
Meanwhile, there was more success for Hampshire, as the B&Q Support Office, in Eastleigh, picked up the award for Design and Innovation.
