Burglar strikes when dog runs off
A BURGLAR targeted a Southampton pensioner by sneaking into her house as she went to retrieve her dog.
The man knocked on the door of the 84-year-old woman on Monday and asked if he could clean her windows, to which she said no.
However, her dog ran out of the home in Burgoyne Road and while she went after him the man went inside and stole her purse containing £120.
