Two men were robbed of cash at knifepoint in a Southampton street.

The men, both 21, were threatened with a blade by a gang of four youths, before being assaulted and robbed of £100, during the incident on Sunday.

Police believe the four suspects followed their victims from Waterloo Terrace, near the Rhino nightclub, to Berkeley Road, where they struck at around 4am.

One of the victims was punched in the head, but neither were seriously injured.

Detectives are now appealing for witnesses in their hunt for the gang, who were all white and aged 19 to 20.

Hope the scum get caught and dealt with. We need harsher punishments to make the brain dead low life think again before carrying out these cowardly attacks.
