Library opening
THE new library on a Winchester estate will open on January 21.
The Stanmore Community Library at the Carroll Centre replaces the county council-run library on Wavell Way that fell victim to cuts this year.
Stanmore Primary School pupils will become the first to use the new facility after it is officially opened at 10.30am.
